For those people needing a temporary crown, Java Crown Inc. has developed a crown with unique coating that does not chip or peel. The crown can be cut and crimped for rapid placement and that reduces unnecessary chair time for dentists.

When patients want their teeth to look and feel as healthy as possible, more dentists are turning to Java Crowns. It's the temporary crown that will make your patient happy until the permanent crown is placed.

Techniques to Make JAVA CROWNS Affordable Temporary Crowns Last Longer

Do you have a patient who needs treatment but cannot afford an expensive crown? Use the following tested technique to solve the problem and make your patient happy.

Cut, crimp and fit crown to tooth.

Fill the crown with a self-curing composite the same color as the crown and place on the tooth.

After composite sets, remove crown, and trim off excess composite.

Coat the tooth with five air dried layers of COPALITE® Varnish.

Permanently cement the crown with DOC'S BEST Red or White Copper Cement. The antimicrobial properties in this clinically proven cement will protect the tooth for as long as it is in contact with the tooth structure.

In time, the crown's coating and the metal will wear at the point of contact with the opposing tooth. The tooth colored composite then will blend with the crown. These crowns can be patched with more composite if needed.

This method has been tested with all age groups. When the patient's requirement for comfort and function supercedes their ability to pay, this method is a time tested alternative. Geriatric patients and pedodontic patients are excellent groups for this technique.
